Shubhi Sahni makes soundscapes, films, and poetry in Los Angeles.

Her work explores ideas swirling around chronic illness, the body, anxiety, and intimacy.

Her work in sound has been recognized by the Cinema Audio Society and screened at AFI FEST, UTA x Gold House, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, and Cinequest.

Her work in film has screened internationally at festivals such as Short Shorts, Reel Asian, ReelAbilities, and been acquired by the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre.

Her poetry is forthcoming in Poetry.

Shubhi got her MFA in Film and Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts where she was an Annenberg Graduate Fellow.

She previously worked at TIFF, Hot Docs, and is currently an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
